E-News - Autumn 2011
Other storiesNews from the Vineyard
Harvest is all over for another vintage. And what a season it was. We had very little rain over Summer so the grapes matured without any disease pressure. The hot days and warm nights delivered an exceptional vintage with grapes harvested 2 -3 weeks earlier than normal.
The Sauvignon Blanc and Semillon are both showing beautiful balanced flavours and great varietal expression. The red varieties had one of the best seasons in KarriBindi history and we will be crafting a 2011 Cabernet Merlot to capture the moment.
Our Viticulturist, James Harris has now passed the KarriBindi baton onto our Winemaker Bruce Dukes to finish off the wines of 2011. Another outstanding KarriBindi vintage.

After our 2007 Chardonnay Pinot picked up Silver medals, two best of wine show accolades and many dedicated fans; it sold out fast. Then we simply had to wait.
We are now fully stocked with more Sparkling. Our 2009 Chardonnay Pinot is only $150 per 6-pack delivered to your door.
The Chardonnay and Pinot Noir grapes were hand picked, gently pressed as whole bunches and then bottle fermented and matured on yeast lees in the traditional method. It is a Vintage Brut; dry and crisp, with an elegant lingering finish. Each mouthful enhanced by the finest bubbles and delicate fruit flavours.
